Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc. (NYSE: MLP) announced the selection of Kainoa Casco, a respected local leader in resource management, as Vice President of Land Productivity and Asset Management. Casco is responsible for developing and executing strategies to create value by increasing the productivity of unimproved land in West Maui.

Casco brings over 15 years of experience in sustainability, renewable energy, and responsible development, having held leadership roles at Johnson Controls and Mahi Pono. He is an active community leader, serving on boards such as the Lahaina Restoration Foundation and Mālama Maui Nui, and has contributed to key initiatives like the Maui County Climate Action and Resiliency Planning Advisory Committee. Recently, he was selected for the 9th cohort of the Omidyar Fellows leadership program. Casco holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and an MBA in Sustainable Management, along with LEED accreditation and certifications in energy management.
